The 2026 VENOM-XI is built upon Artur Szpunar and Barry Spanier’s legacy of design experience and optimized for winning performance in modern PWA Slalom-X and IFCA Fin Slalom disciplines. 2026 VENOM-XI design improvements have unleased massive horsepower for instantaneous acceleration and a slippery aerodynamic profile for limitless top speed. The 2026 VENOM-XI accelerates out of the jibes and blazes down the straights, giving its rider the advantage needed to finish first! The VENOM-XI is also a lethal weapon for speed sailing as demonstrated this year at the La Palme Speed World Championship where S2Maui rider Brendan Lorho, at only 75kg and using a production Venom-X 5.6, set the 2nd fastest speed only a half knot behind the 100+kg champion, Antoine Albeau.

Young Brendan Lorho has been untouchable on his S2Maui VENOM, winning PWA Youth U21 contests in Aruba, Bonaire and Sylt as well as the Youth Speed World title!

2026 VENOM-XI DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE
• MAXIMUM VELOCITY AERODYNAMIC PROFILE: The 2026 VENOM-XI has an updated profile that is flatter above the boom at battens 4, and 5 but maintains a strong locked in shape below the boom at battens 6 and 7 which, together with improved mid leech twist, further boosts acceleration, increase
overall wind range and unleashes insane top speed.
• SUPERCHARGED ACCELERATION: During 2026 VENOM-XI development, we placed an emphasis on unlocking next level instantaneous power and acceleration while expanding the unlimited top end speed. We further improved our “Turbo leech” profile to be more smoothly and progressively open from the clew through the mid-leech and above, allowing for a greater volume of airflow to be efficiently channeled and accelerated across the sail.
• SUPERLIGHT, SMOOTH AND RESPONSIVE: The 2026 VENOM-XI is even lighter than before, extending the use of S2Maui’s “Light-Film”, replacing monofilm panels with a lighter but durable Bi-ply fabric. Generous use of S2Maui’s original superlight and strong Technora™ Spacelight™ in the leech, reduces weight in this key area, encouraging faster, smoother twist reflex.
