Introducing the 2024 Product Range

News

For the 2024 sail range, we made a major effort and investment in new materials, designs, prototypes and testing with the goal to offer class leading performance and significant innovation that will reward and excite customers and riders alike. We conducted 2024 race development and testing with feedback from the S2Maui team of champions, including Micah Buzianis, Justine Lemeteyer, Delphine and Antoine Questel, Lohan Jules, Bob Van De Burgt and Mark Boersma. We also had the pleasure of Justine Lemeteyer joining us on Maui to help with Eagle-FR testing and ensure that she has the best tools to be World Champion in 2024. The new race sails have made a significant step in improved stability, acceleration and top speed and we expect to see many of our riders atop the podium in the 2024 season

A major new development in the 2024 Wave sails is the “Gradient Concept” (details within catalogue) which gives a technical structure and clean modern aesthetic like no other. The new full carbon lower sail body, transitioning to progressively lighter technical fibers as you move up the sail body is extremely functional while being beautiful as well. This year’s freeride sails also benefit from new development, notably S2Maui’s “Light-Film” a light weight and durable colored Bi-ply material which works together with our Technora Spacelight and shaping improvements to further reduce weight while increasing performance and overall wind range.

Our Wave sails perform at the highest level as demonstrated when Camille Juban rode the S2Maui Dragon to win the 2022 Cloudbreak Fiji event and also to the Vice-Championship in the Aloha Classic and 2023 Chile event. After recovering from an injury sustained in the spring on Maui, Camille is back in action and currently in Tahiti, shooting some epic wavesailing action for the 2024 S2Maui range. We look forward to Camille continuing to represent S2Maui in 2024!
